Center/Gallery is a cooperative feminist gallery based in Chapel Hill and Carrboro that was active from 1977 – 84.  It was an integral part of the nationwide feminist art movement, included in major texts on the era.  In the 30 years since the group’s heyday, the artists of Center/Gallery have thrived and passed their expertise on to younger artists.  This show is an opportunity for Center/Gallery members to gather with others, share and celebrate this unique community of artists.
