Born in Yonkers, New York, Marsha acquired her MA in art education from Syracuse University and BS ,(Major in Fine Arts , Minor in Education), at Herbert H. Lehman College, a branch of the City University of New York City.. She taught art for twenty-five years emphasizing art history and cultural diversity. My art tries to capture the gesture and essence of the being I am creating. The sculptures are psychological and deal with universal feelings such as loneliness, detachment, fear, power, and joy. I create a raw and primitive feeling to evoke emotion while viewing the sculpture.
