Early Bird registration ends on September 15. Online registration ends October 6. Limited registration available onsite Oct. 19-21. You must be a member of Tri-State to attend the conference. If you are not a member, be sure to add your $35 membership fee to your order. Our membership fees help to keep the conference cost low.
The 2017 Tri-State Sculptors 39th Annual Conference will be held on Thursday, October 19 through Sunday October 22 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The conference will be hosted by Converse College and The Spartanburg Art Museum, with support from the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce, and the Department of Visual Arts at Greenville Technical College and USC Upstate. This program is funded in part by Chapman Cultural Center, its donors, the County and City of Spartanburg and the South Carolina Arts Commission which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts and the John and Susan Bennett Memorial Arts Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation of SC.
There will be four member exhibitions. The indoor exhibition will be held at the Milliken Gallery at Converse College. Outdoor sculpture will be exhibited on the campus of Converse College and USC Upstate. Student members will have their own exhibition in Wilson Hall at Converse College.
This conference is designed to meet the needs of sculptors and educators working in a variety of 3D media. It will be a valuable educational experience including technical, marketing and business information. Our annual business meeting will be held on Sunday morning. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Registration includes all receptions, presentations and demos, roundtable discussions, keynote speakers and access to vendors.
Meals are NOT included in the conference fee. A catered Lunch on Friday and Dinner on Saturday can be purchased for an additional fee.
Conference Hotel Information
Hotel accommodations can be booked for the Courtyard Spartanburg by calling Marriott Reservations at 1 (800) 321-2211 or (864) 585-2400 on or before Thursday, September 21, 2017.
Reserve your accommodations for 1 king bed or 2 double beds at $114 plus tax per night. Please state that you are with the Tri-State Sculptors Association Annual Conference Room Block group staying at the Courtyard Spartanburg, located at 110 Mobile Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303-2025.
Camping is available at Croft State Park. To make a camping reservation, call toll-free 1-866-345-PARK or make it online by clicking Park Reservation. Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights.
Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.

Fees include a non-refundable administration charge of $5 and must be paid in full before registration will be processed. Written notice of cancellation by Sept 19th, 2017 will receive a full refund. After that, refunds are offered only at the discretion of the conference organizers.
